Amit is the Chief Financial Officer of Lightspeed India Partners. He strongly believes that the finance function acts as an enabler for businesses. He devotes a significant part of his time to helping founders focus on the health and performance of their companies. Before joining Lightspeed in 2018, he played a leading role in McKinsey’s finance function in a global capacity for 15+ years. Although he hails from a professional services background, the world of Venture Capital has always fascinated him. He’s passionate about the complete entrepreneurial journey of founders, especially as they go from an early-stage start-up to a more established company.
