Ritesh is the founder and group CEO of OYO, the hospitality business that aims to bring easy-to-book, affordable, and trusted accommodation to customers around the globe. Armed with a vision to bring affordable and trusted accommodation that travellers can book instantly, Ritesh has built OYO from the ground up into a global brand. Today, OYO offers 40+ integrated products and solutions to patrons who operate around 170K hotel and home storefronts in more than 35 countries, including India, Europe, the US, Middle East and Southeast Asia. OYO’s journey began with a 17-year-old Ritesh realising the need for affordable and good-quality hotels in the budget hotel category. His conviction about the idea was so strong, he dropped out of college at 19 to set up OYO. The rest, as they say, is history.
